Like everything in life, reflecting on myself reached the end of its terminus. I got stuck and I couldn’t continue following this path. In my private life which is always in sync with painting, I needed a change and to refresh my blood. I decided to leave Motherland and I moved to Malta. For a few years I concentrated on existing, getting to know people and to open myself. I was hungry to collect and give knowledge, attention, love. I wanted to feel I am in the “blood flow” of life and clear my system from the closeness of analysing. The tiny island is perfectly capable to offer that; I got lost in happenings of everyday life, and how I gradually freed myself from pressure, it gave birth to the desire to paint again. I painted for friends, for commission, to myself, I permanently exhibit in the local scene and through a couple of summers I sold landscapes in the streets of Sliema and Valetta.
