About meMORE ABOUT ME
Welcome at borzalex.com!
My name is Alexandra Borz. I was born in 1980 and I am from Budapest, Hungary. I have studied and graduated in University of Pécs, Faculty of Art as a painter in 2006.
As a visual artist normally I prefer to just paint and leave understanding to the viewer. At the same time I realized that sharing my thoughts and the main points of my journey would be an amazing experience for me and hopefully for you too, dear Visitor.
Art, at least for me is an always changing, organic, flowing experience. In my case it is based on my own personal development but at the end, it belongs to all, who take the time and attention to look at it. I love how different is the way I am thinking now from fifteen years ago, yet, there is always a deep connection between all the phases I have been going through. In this website, I would like to share the stations of this journey, how it happened and hopefully, how it will grow in the future. Every each person knows and understands these phases as we all have to go through them. In my twenties for example it was all about understanding myself and all the struggles and love and doubt what belonged to those times, later it changed of course and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
I believe that I have one goal and one duty to be faithful to: be a filter of all happening in and around me in my most honest and truthful way. It is very simple and yet difficult just as life itself.
I would like to invite You to join me in this emotional, empiric road. My time when I paint is mine but the experience is all to share! Please do not hesitate whenever you feel like to contact me, my doors are always open for all kind of discussion. I hope you will enjoy visiting my world!
Sincerely,
Alexandra Borz

I think at first we all imagine that life is heading in a straight direction; at one point we will be able to link our experiences, draw the conclusions and from that point we are “ready” to do perfection. At least it happened with me and many people around me… Later on I have learned that even if we reach that beautiful state of mind it will only last for a brief moment and we have to continue the work until reaching the next one. The time between those special moments I call “phases” of my life and my work – as I grow and improve, I am trying to follow an instinct until it turn into something else and – hopefully – something more.
