In search of the essence with a brush in my hand….

The primary approach to a painting is emotional. Like the start of a relationship. You meet someone. There is an immediate reaction whether you are interested in each other or not. If not, you move on. But if it happens and there is a connection, you still have to open up and allow the other to go through your veins and pervade your body and soul. When you both decide to allow it, the magic happens and no matter what comes after, it will change you forever. I believe that Art does the same thing. It connect us with something eternal, endless… the Essence. So the reason why I am writing this blog is definitely not to give explanations to my paintings. I do it for the secondary approach: being in a relationship. This part is the adventure itself: nobody knows, what will come out of it but just to be there, to be on the road is what matters. So this is my trip, my adventure; I am the mediator who holds the brush or pencil or whatever tool I got in my hand and I invite You to follow me making my steps through it… Whatever may happen, here I come!
